PROVISION

At Kintyre Veterinary Services, we are proud to be the only full-service mobile veterinary practice in Scotland providing our own out-of-hours care. This means that, as a registered client, you have direct access to a trusted, familiar vet — not an answering service — whenever your animal needs urgent attention.

We can provide emergency diagnostics, hospitalisation, intensive care, pain relief, and, in some cases, emergency surgery. While we do not perform advanced orthopaedic procedures, we will stabilise, relieve pain, and arrange rapid referral to a specialist where needed.

AVAILABILITY & FEES

Our standard visit hours for pre-booked appointments are 9am–9pm Mon-Sat

arranged in advance and subject to availability. 
Urgent or emergency requests are prioritised and incur an additional surcharge depending on the time of day:

Please note: Due to our rural location & patchy mobile signal in some areas there may be times when we are with another patient. If you cannot get through to the vet on call immediately, please leave a voicemail and continue to call back — messages are checked regularly, and we will respond as soon as possible.
